Designed to meet the demands of microbiological analysis, the new BagFilter Pipet bags offer precise and safe pipetting, even with large volumes, while improving ergonomics in the workplace.
Following the success of the BagFilter Pipet 400 mL bags, Interscience is launching new 2000 mL and 3500 mL bags, specially designed for analyzing large samples. The NEW BagFilter Pipet large volume bags design facilitates pipetting, even with large weights, while helping to reduce musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) associated with handling during successive pipetting operations.
Secure filter bag for reliable microbiological analysis
As reliable results are essential, these filter bags guarantee the integrity of your samples. They enhance the safety of analyses by effectively reducing the risk of cross-contamination, a key issue for risky microbiological analyses. Thanks to their < 250 µm porosity filter, you can pipet filtered samples, ensuring that your final interpretation of your Petri dishes is free of false positives.
Pipetting from the bottom of the bag allows direct sampling of the filtrate while keeping the bag closed. Sampling is carried out away from the bag opening, which is susceptible to contamination from the pipette body or other external elements.
BagFilter Pipet is used in particular for protocols for counting hygiene indicators or searching for pathogens under a biological safety cabinet.
